Today, we’d like to introduce ‘On Your Radar‘, a new feature here at Fragmatica that focuses on you, our readers! Basically, on a timetable that’s yet to be determined, we’ll choose one reader from a pool of volunteers to spotlight here on the site. We’ll ask you a few basic questions about how you became interested in gaming, what platforms you own and which one gets most of your time, your favorite games, etc., and then write up a short bio. To kick things off and let you get a better feel for what we mean, we’ll start out by spotlighting the three main contributors at Fragmatica. This week, we’ll be focusing on DesolationPoint. Hit the jump to learn more!

Fragmatica is Open for Business!
Fragmatica is a video game blog run by a crew of college students, layabouts, and gaming degenerates. We’re interested in the gaming industry as a whole with a special interest in interactive media theory and philosophy. While you’ll see us post plenty of industry news, our primary focus is on the analysis of gaming trends and phenomena. We hope for Fragmatica to become a place where involved gamers can congregate and communicate.
While the Xbox 360 is the console of choice for much of the Fragmatica staff, we will feature articles that span the entire industry. Though we may have a Microsoft bias, we’re not fanboys. We welcome gamers of all platforms and genres and encourage open, honest discussion of all competitors in the industry. This is a forum for rational conversation, not fanaticism.
Fragmatica will be updated daily with news, reviews, and topical articles by our three primary posters: Broken Luck, DesolationPoint, and SummerElk along with a few guest bloggers. In addition to our standard posts, we will be hosting giveaway contests and group gaming sessions, so check back often!
